Hello Everyone!

Earlier this week i had a VampireFreaks meet up with a bunch of lovely ladies; Kat Van der Avoort, Kittie Amber, Myrthe de Gruijter, Undine LaVerve, Erthana Beau, saw some of them in person for the first time, rediscussed my plans for shoots with everyone.
And then I also talked about my exposition with Erthana Beau and Undine LaVerve that is to be planned in 2018.

Honestly, I am so excited right now that i'm having a hard time deciding what to write first, So let me just start somewhere. Erthana told me that she'd be super excited to work mith me for a shoot for the exposition, and I've also got my bestie Nils that wants to work with me on this, so that's two models that already want to work with me and I haven't decided on anything for this exposition yet, just talked about it with a bunch of people. I have a few connections with designers aswell, and with the fresh enthusiastic input I got today i'm feeling a lot more confident to approach them for collaborations for exposition goals!

Mila and I also talked about the topic of sponsors, and openingnight for the exposition. I want to make sure there's going to be an amazing opening night, and we came up with a couple ideas for acts or shows I could realise for the grand opening.

First next steps that I would be doing right now for my exposition would be to enquire for locations, and to look for sponsors. Ofcourse I need some promotional pictures aswell, so I'll be making a banner that says something like "DARKASHTER fineart Photo Expo summer 2018" or some shit. I likely included a first tryout when I post this(or maybe the next update).

I'm also listing like the smaller and practical things to do to organise an expo, like catering, Printing pictures, what ill wear, who will host it, how long I want it to be... Just listing things that come up in my mind.

And then there's this other thing called the Calendar! So, I realised that it'd be a lot of work to do both a calendar ánd an exposition and keep everything secret. Also It would probably be great to be able to sell some of my work on the exposition and realised that the Calendar would be an amazing thing to sell on such event! Now, I said before it would be a Calendar for 2018, but naturally It wouldn't be a good idea to sell all my photos before my event, being in summer 2018, which would mean the calenders would only last for half a year instead of a full year (useless much). And that's why I'll make the calendar for 2019 instead, which will give me a great window of time to sell all the calendars i'd have produced before then.

So naturally that all leads to another idea: Selling books of the photos that are in the Expositions. Two versions; Just the pictures with credits, and the back that also has the behind the scenes (or one just the picture book and a second one that has the behind the scenes, I still have to think about how I want this exactly)

Those things will naturally also be Rewards that you can get for donating in the crowdfund that i'll be doing for this expo, next to prints, Tickets for the expo, eventual Vip or meetups on the opening night, stuff like that. I'm even considering selling the original prints that are going to be exposed that day.

I have already made contact with a few people for starters, just to get word out, and ask about things, since I have zero experience organising anything like this.

That is a LOT of information, and maybe even progress. And good to, because it is my intention to have a good, reasonably clear actionplan by the end of january on how this stuff is all going to go down., so that I can look for the things I need in a more focussed kind of fashion.

It's funny that I already feel like i've given myself too little time to organise stuff, even though, or maybe because I've only scratched the surface of this project. It seems rather impossible to get this done, but I WILL do this thing. I WILL have an exposition summer 2018, even if it turns out so much smaller than I'd hoped for. There's no turning back from this project anymore.

So the Information that i can confirm so far about the Expo:
- It'll be in the summer of 2018, in or around the green heart of the Netherlands (Leiden, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague).
- There will be a =GRAND OPENING= on which the models that worked with me on the expo will be present, and there'll be acts of sorts
- The exposition will host 12 to 48 Photographs.
- Calendars and possibly books will be sold at the Expo
